Axial Fan Maintenance

1. Keep the operating environment and the fan's exterior clean; ensure the air inlets and outlets are free of debris, and periodically remove dust and other foreign matter from the fan and ductwork.
2. Operate the fan only when it is in proper working condition. Ensure the power supply has sufficient capacity and stable voltage; never operate the fan with a faulty power supply. Use a dedicated power line; do not rely on temporary wiring for long-term operation.
3. Stop the fan immediately for inspection if any abnormalities occur during operation, such as unusual noises, severe motor overheating, the casing becoming electrically charged, the circuit breaker tripping, or failure to start. For safety reasons, do not perform maintenance while the fan is running. After maintenance, conduct a test run of approximately five minutes to ensure there are no issues before resuming normal operation.
4. Replenish or replace bearing grease periodically based on operating conditions (sealed motor bearings do not require regreasing during their service life). To ensure proper lubrication, lubricate bearings at least once every 1,000 hours of operation using ZL-3 lithium-based grease, filling one-third of the space between the inner and outer bearing races; never operate the fan without adequate lubrication.
5. Store the fan in a dry environment to prevent motor dampness. If stored outdoors, take appropriate protective measures. Prevent impacts or collisions during storage and handling to avoid damaging the fan.
