Engineering Note: These are typical reference ranges rather than fixed specifications for every 4-72 configuration. Actual performance depends on fan size, airflow, pressure, gas temperature, gas composition and total system resistance.

Working Principle

Corrosive gas enters the fan through the inlet and is accelerated by the rotating FRP centrifugal impeller. Centrifugal force increases the gas velocity and pressure while changing the airflow direction. The volute collects and guides the gas toward the discharge duct and downstream treatment equipment.

Typical process:

Corrosive Gas → 4-72 FRP Fan → Scrubber → Gas Treatment → Exhaust Stack

Alternative process:

Production Equipment → FRP Exhaust Fan → Duct → Waste Gas Treatment System

Key Features

4-72 Chemical Exhaust Fan

Excellent Corrosion Resistance

FRP construction provides corrosion resistance for many acidic, alkaline and chemically aggressive gas environments.

Designed for Chemical Exhaust

The fan is suitable for acid fumes, alkaline gases, chemical process exhaust and other corrosive industrial ventilation applications.

Lightweight FRP Construction

FRP provides a lightweight alternative to conventional metal fan construction while offering strong resistance to many corrosive environments.

Multiple Fan Sizes

Different fan sizes can be selected according to airflow, pressure, duct dimensions and available installation space.

Compatible with Scrubber Systems

The 4-72 FRP fan can be integrated with scrubbers, absorption towers and industrial waste gas treatment systems.

Customized Engineering

EMS can customize the fan according to gas composition, concentration, temperature, airflow, pressure, materials, motor power, drive type and installation requirements.

Fan Selection Information

For proper selection of a FRP centrifugal fan, customers should provide:

  • Required Airflow
  • Total or Static Pressure
  • Gas Temperature
  • Gas Composition
  • Corrosive Medium
  • Gas Concentration
  • Dust or Particulate Content
  • Duct Size and Length
  • Scrubber / Treatment Equipment Resistance
  • Motor Voltage and Frequency
  • Installation Position
  • Operating Hours

Important: FRP material selection should not be based only on whether the gas is "acidic" or "alkaline." Different chemicals, concentrations and temperatures have different compatibility requirements. The final resin and FRP configuration should be selected according to the actual gas composition and operating conditions.
