Product Overview
The Industrial Boiler Forced Induced Draft Fan is a centrifugal industrial fan designed for boiler ventilation, combustion air supply, and flue gas extraction applications.
Depending on the boiler system configuration, the GY6-41 can be engineered as a Forced Draft Fan (FD Fan) for combustion air supply or an Induced Draft Fan (ID Fan) for boiler flue gas extraction.
EMS provides customized GY6-41 boiler fans based on boiler capacity, fuel type, airflow or flue gas volume, system resistance, gas temperature, dust concentration, and downstream environmental protection equipment.

The above values are typical engineering reference ranges and are not fixed specifications for every GY6-41 configuration. Final airflow, pressure, speed, motor power, temperature rating, and materials should be selected according to the actual boiler system.
Working Principle
The GY6-41 uses a centrifugal impeller to accelerate and transport air or flue gas. The rotating impeller converts mechanical energy into airflow and pressure suitable for the boiler ventilation system.
Forced Draft Configuration
For combustion air supply:
Ambient Air → GY6-41 FD Fan → Air Duct → Boiler Furnace → Combustion
The fan supplies combustion air while overcoming resistance from air ducts, dampers, air preheaters, and other upstream equipment.
Induced Draft Configuration
For flue gas extraction:
Boiler → Dust Collector → Flue Gas Treatment → GY6-41 ID Fan → Chimney
The fan extracts boiler flue gas and overcomes resistance from dust collectors, desulfurization systems, denitrification systems, ducts, dampers, and chimneys.
Key Features

FD and ID Applications
The GY6-41 platform can be configured for either forced draft or induced draft duties according to the actual boiler design.
Stable Centrifugal Performance
The centrifugal configuration provides the pressure capability required for boiler air supply and flue gas systems with significant system resistance.
Multiple Drive Configurations
Direct drive, belt drive, or coupling drive can be selected according to airflow, speed, motor power, and installation requirements.
Wear-Resistant Options
For dusty flue gas applications, wear-resistant impellers and protective configurations can be provided according to dust concentration and particle characteristics.
High-Temperature Configuration
For high-temperature air or flue gas, appropriate bearings, cooling arrangements, sealing systems, and heat-resistant materials can be selected.
Continuous Industrial Operation
The fan can be equipped with industrial-grade motors, bearings, shafts, and drive components for continuous boiler operation.
