Engineering Note: These are typical reference ranges, not fixed specifications for every fan model. Final selection should be based on the required airflow, pressure, gas temperature, gas density, dust concentration, gas composition and total system resistance.
Working Principle
The high-temperature gas enters the fan through the inlet. The rotating centrifugal impeller accelerates the gas and converts rotational energy into pressure. The volute or discharge collector then directs the gas into the downstream exhaust or process duct.
Typical exhaust system:
High Temperature Gas → High Temperature Fan → Exhaust Duct → Dust Collection / Gas Treatment → Chimney
Hot-air circulation system:
Heater / Furnace → High Temperature Fan → Hot Air Duct → Drying / Heating Chamber → Return Air → Fan
Key Features

High-Temperature Operation
The fan can be engineered for high-temperature air, furnace gas and hot flue gas with suitable materials and cooling arrangements.
Heat-Resistant Construction
Depending on the application, the fan can be equipped with heat-resistant impellers, bearing cooling systems, high-temperature seals and specialized shaft protection.
Stable Centrifugal Performance
The centrifugal configuration provides stable airflow and pressure for industrial systems with long ductwork and significant system resistance.
Wear- and Corrosion-Resistant Options
For dusty, abrasive or corrosive gases, EMS can provide wear-resistant steel, stainless steel or other customized material configurations.
Multiple Drive Options
Direct drive, belt drive and coupling drive can be selected according to temperature, speed, layout and maintenance requirements.
Customized Engineering
Airflow, pressure, temperature rating, materials, drive arrangement, inlet/outlet direction, cooling system and installation configuration can be customized for individual projects.

Fan Selection Information
For proper fan selection, customers should provide:
- Required Airflow
- Required Total or Static Pressure
- Gas Temperature
- Gas Composition
- Dust Concentration
- Gas Density
- Total System Resistance
- Installation Location
- Motor Voltage and Frequency
- Drive Type
